Dennis Wixted graduated with Honors from LaSalle College in1970 and Rutgers University Law School in 1973. Following a judicial clerkship, he joined the Camden County Prosecutor's Office as an assistant prosecutor, where he remained for over sixteen years. As the head of the Organized Crime Unit, Homicide Unit and as First Assistant Prosecutor, he was involved in thousands of investigations and many jury trials.

After joining Sufrin & Zucker in 1990, Mr. Wixted was certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a specialist in Criminal Law and invites referrals in this area. He also specializes in other areas of litigation such as personal injury, negligence, contract law, Municipal Court matters (such as driving while intoxicated offenses and others), business law, commercial transactions, and practice before administrative agencies. He is a member of the Camden County and New Jersey State Bar Associations and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He presently serves on several committees of the Camden County Bar Association and lectures frequently to other members of the bar on matters within his areas of expertise.

He is licensed to practice before the United States District Court, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition, he served as the Municipal Prosecutor in the Borough of Pine Hill and lectures for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
